We Can Upgrade Your Amps

8 September 2010 One Comment

Let us take a look and listen to your amplifiers and check your tube bias.  Biasing is a very necessary maintenance item that gets overlooked or left out most of the time.  Your guitar is number one in the chain of good tone, and your amplifier finalizes the message.  You can only experience the best tones and performances when both elements are working together  in perfect harmony.  Some amp upgrades could entail new tubes, filter caps (essential!!) output and power transformers, and proper grounding and sheilding.  A little goes a LONG way in this department and  we only use the best, highest quality parts for amp repairs, not the cheap throwaway production line items.  Come in to the Pleasant Hill location and give a listen to some amps we have built and or upgraded and let your ears decide for you.

I have a Fender Bantam Bass Amp that was given to me, but needs a total restoration. I’ve been told that because of it’s circuitry it can be mod-ed into something usable for guitar. Was wondering if it was possible and what the price would be for something like that. Thanks for your time and attention.
