Do you do neck resets? If so, how much?
Hi David, yes we do neck resets in our Pleasant Hill shop. The estimated cost is $700.00. The repair includes a new bone or Tusq saddle for acoustics (because the old one is usually ground down to nothing), finish work and setup of the guitar. Cost considerations focus on the finishing required to make the guitar look like it did when it arrived (provided it has not been reset before). Lead time for a reset is approximately four weeks, but is dependent on the current work load. Taylor neck resets are $75.00 and take one week.
